The VMS VT-NAV is available as an ECS or fully type approved (DNV) ECDIS. A Universal Chart Manager reads official Hydrographic Office electronic charts in both the raster and vector formats.

Automatic Navigation & Track Keeping System (ANTS)

The optional ANTS module determines ship's present position, monitors advance against the planned track and determines the correct heading and speed orders to keep the ship on the prescribed track.

Vessel Advance Prediction

This highly desirable feature offers a graphical future estimate of the vessel's advance at the operator selected time intervals. A call up alphanumeric window provides all necessary advance and maneuvering data for ship handling.

Vessel Optimization and Safety System (VOSS)

This optional module offers decision support aid for vessel's master and shoreside managers. The VOSS workstation integrates state-of-the-art seven day weather and sea forecast with a ship specific module for route planning and seakeeping advisory program. VOSS in the NAV PLANNING STATION or as an independent workstation is configurable as a module.

AIS Target Display

The AIS target display feature allows for the display of AIS targets on the electronic chart. The feature contains unique target correlation capability tthat correlates AIS targets with radar targets in a single display. A simple operator command provides fast access to a "Pop Up" target data window that displays complete AIS information.
