NAVIPRINT

Navigation Data Printer

There is no mariner who would wish to see himself and his ship encounter a perilous situation. However, in the aftermath of a critical incident it is a great advantage to be able to refer to the vessel's major navigational data prevailing at that time, such as heading, rudder angle, steering mode, etc. It is in this and similar situations that the cries for a maritime BLACK BOX - similar to those used in aircraft - become very loud. The C.PLATH Voyage Data Printer not only provides the customary recordings of heading and rudder angle, but also a selection of additional significant data which could be used as evidence in a maritime court of law or for the animation of certain situations in a ship simulator.

The Voyage Data Printer is supported by the following C.PLATH systems:

  • High-Speed Craft Adaptive Autopilot NAVIPILOT V HSC / LMP HSC
