AISLive

First Global AIS Network

AISLive provides online access to real time vessel movements. We receive the AIS (Automatic Identification System) signals via our international shore-based network of antennae. Our growing network coverage now includes Europe, North and South America, the Caribbean, Mediterranean, the Arabian Gulf and Far East.

AIS was initially developed for collision avoidance, but with the R&D efforts of AISLive, we have developed the original technology and pushed it to another level. With coverage on four continents, AISLive now gives a truly global view of vessel positions in real time.

AIS Live Ltd. has developed a low cost solution for ports and port communities to enable them to make full use of this new technology.

The system consists of a small but powerful AIS receiver unit, a marine grade VHF antenna and mounting kit and a TCP / IP converter. This connects to our server via the Internet and we display the information on our website which is updated every 5 minutes 24 / 7.
